This descriptive memorial presents the personal, academic, and professional journey of a northeastern Brazilian woman marked by faith, resilience, and a deep commitment to education. Through reflections on her life experiences—from childhood and overcoming financial hardship to escaping an abusive relationship and pursuing higher education—the author reveals how knowledge and philosophy became tools for transformation and liberation. Drawing from thinkers such as Paulo Freire, Simone de Beauvoir, and Jean-Paul Sartre, the narrative emphasizes the role of education in promoting critical thinking, gender equity, and social transformation.
